Aleem joined the DWM private equity team in 2009 and has nearly two decades of experience with socially responsible, double- and triple-bottom-line venture capital and private equity funds in the U.S. and Europe.

Before joining DWM, Aleem served as an investment associate for Bridges Community Ventures, a UK-based private equity and venture capital firm that invests in double- and triple-bottom-line projects in the most economically deprived areas of the UK. Before that, Aleem worked as a senior associate at the New York City Investment Fund, a private, double-bottom-line fund that invests in SMEs to promote the creation of jobs and improvement of impoverished areas of New York. Aleem started his career as a corporate finance analyst for JP Morgan, where he served in an advisory capacity for transportation and diversified industrials clients worldwide.

Aleem received a BA in economics and finance from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is fluent in English and conversant in Hindi, Gujarati, Kutchi and Spanish.
