Before joining DWM in 2013, Robert was a vice president at Citi in its Export & Agency Finance group, where he was responsible for the origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of structured finance transactions for corporate and sovereign borrowers throughout Latin America. Prior to Citi, Robert worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as a commissioned bank examiner covering financial institutions of varying size and complexity.

Robert graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Wisconsin with a BA in economics and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also holds an MSc from the Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Argentina, where he studied as a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar. He is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
