Before joining DWM, Andrés was an associate director for Fitch Ratings responsible for rating structured debt transactions, real estate vehicles, project finance deals, and non-bank servicers across Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Chile, and El Salvador. Prior to that, he held various roles at Goldman Sachs in the US in treasury, the financing desk, and mortgage trading, focusing on transactional management with institutional funds.

Andrés holds a BS in industrial engineering from Universidad del Norte, with a dual degree awarded by the University of South Florida, both cum laude, and an MS in finance from Universidad de los Andes. He is a CFA Level III candidate. He speaks Spanish and English.
