Tamar Baiashvili

Tamar joined the DWM Portfolio & Risk Management team in 2022. Before joining DWM, she worked as a deputy head of the Macroeconomics and Statistics Department of the National Bank of Georgia, and before that served as a head of the Monetary Policy Division, gaining in total nearly a decade of experience in central banking. She has also worked for the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg and the microfinance institution FINCA Georgia. Tamar has academic experience as well, including university teaching.

Tamar earned a BA degree in applied economics from the University of North Dakota (US), a BS in economic information systems from the Georgian Technical University, country of Georgia, and an MS in applied economics from the University of North Dakota. She is fluent in Georgian, English and Russian.
