Devendra Singh

Devendra is responsible for Developing World Markets’ credit investments in the Africa & Middle East region. He joined DWM in September 2020 after working in the microfinance industry for six years with banking and finance institutions based in India including, most recently, Yes Bank, where he managed a USD 120 million microfinance portfolio and was responsible for origination, execution, and placement of a debt portfolio. Besides his professional work, he volunteers with Greenpeace and with ActionAid India in fulfillment of his obligation toward the environment and society.

Devendra holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from MJP Rohilkhand University and an MBA in rural development management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, an autonomous institute under the Indian Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change.
